My fav hair products right now!

Hi guys,

I know its been a long time since my last blog post, and I apologise.

Also,I would like to take this opportunity, to say Hi, to some of our new subscribers.

Anyway, the past month, my hair hasn't been co-operating with me, its just been unmanageable and frizzy, especially because I'm trying to stay away from straightener's and other heated appliances.

So in order to help me resist the temptation of the magical heated appliances, that do wonders for us. I purchased some products, and the ones that have been really working for me are the Toni and Guy Frizz smoothing curl conditioner and VO5's miracle mist (leave in conditioning spray). I also have a few others which will be mentioned in a upcoming post!

So the first product
VO5 miracle mist which is described as a light-weight leave- in conditioning spray with satin silk. Which also, states it helps to improve manageability, protects against heat damage and leaves hair smooth, soft and with a healthy shine. This product also contains 5 natural oils.

The product for me has helped in reducing frizz and leaving my hair shinny and healthy looking, and it smells absolutely divine, kinda reminds me of comfort- (washing machine liquid). overall I like this product and I would definitely re-purchase. I think than helping reduce frizz, it helps more in making the hair feel and look more healthy. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 overall for being a good product, which doesnt just claim to be a good product but puts it in action.

So the second product I've loved using is the Toni & Guy Frizz smoothing curl conditioner, I haven't seen a dramatic difference in the reduction of frizz, but the most important thing to me is I can see a difference, I can notice that my hair seems more shinny and less frizzy. And to some extent the curls in my hair are more defined, and that's really helped me stay away from heated appliances, usually I would run the straightener through just to seal the frizz.

Sleek Blushes

Recently I have been loving these blushes although they are quite different from each other, one being a coral and the other a bright pink, they are perfect for this time of the year, they're bright and summery!

I got my sleek blushes from superdrugs =£4.29

The blush coral, has shimmer in it but its not so visible on the skin
Whereas Pixie Pink is completely Matt

summer scents

Hi Girls and Guys!!

My favourite fragrance at the moment for summer is the Davidoff Cool Water (Woman) and The body shop's - White Musk

These two perfumes just scream out summer to me. Both smelling very fresh and musky

White Musk
price- £9.00

Described by The Body shop Website as:
Velvety musk, floral lily and ylang ylang - combine to create the sensual top notes.
Oriental jasmine, lily and rose - combine to create the feminine heart notes.
sweet vanilla, fresh amber, patchouli and vetiver - combine to create the velvety base notes.

And my next favourite
Davidoff Cool Water (Woman) described as -
Top notes of blackcurrant, pineapple and honeydew melon, fuse with a floral heart of lotus blossom and water lily, while the fragrance is rounded off with a base of citrus and woody notes

Summer Skincare

Superdrug have introduced a new Vitamin E skincare range which is basically a copy of The Body Shop's range but for a fraction of the price.

I love the body shop skincare products but being on a budget I decided to look for a cheaper option and found a copy. The SPF 15 Radiance Moisture Cream is great as not only does it have SPF 15  init , it leaves a really nice illuminating effect on the skin whilst moisturizing my skin incredibly well . For £1.99 I would definitely consider it a product worth having especially if you love a dewy finish .

All Over Body Butter
When I first saw this I was a bit skeptical about how moisturizing it would be for my dry skin as Ii have found that a lot of cheaper products that claim to be butters end up being to thin and the results are never up to par compared to the body shop ones. This ones consistency is almost identical to that of the body shop ones ( only a tincy bit thinner) and with a 2 for £3.99 offer on its money well spent. Practically £2 each in comparison to £12.50 of the body shop butters, for the same amount .

Summer Lovin.. Top 5 Nailpolishes

Miss V's Top 5 Summer Nail Polishes

1. Nails Inc Jermyn Street
Although this is not your typical summer colour , I wear a lot of nude coloured clothing and this off purple adds just the right amount of colour.Another plus is that its pretty opaque and one coat would definately do the job.

 2. 17 Lasting Fix. Forever

Again a nude based colour. Although it may look boring i think it is the perfect nude colour on anyone . The only down side is that the consistency is pretty rubbish and I cannot get a good colour before atleast 3 coats :( .

3. 17 Lasting Fix . Woo Me

This colour is a really nice pale purple which looks almost grey in the picture but in real life is more purple toned. This colour is great for someone who wants to go for a colour that is a bit different but still playing it safe. The only down side again is the consistency although it isn't as terrible as Forever.

4.Beauty UK Peach Melba
This colour is really pretty and also has the same name as the new peach shade from Barry M . This colour does need two coats but is not as much work as the 17 shades. I have the big size but you can also get it as part of a set of mini nail polishes that are on trend as shown in (Miss G's latest post), for £5 which is definitely worth it.

5. Rimmel London . Rose Libertine
This pink shade is the brightest of all but really is a subtle peachy pink .
It seems to compliment a lot of outfits
well , however I am not to sure about the 60 seconds thing.

Summer Nails

Hiii Girls and Guys

My first eva blog post!!!

As summers here, I find myself spending more money and time on deciding on what nail varnish to wear.

I have recently purchased the beautyuk statement nails gift set in Urban girl which consists of pretty pastels I have truly fell in love with these colours and with the variety of 6 nails varnish under £5 is simply a bargain.

The gift set consists of a white, a lilac, grey( with lilac undertones), peach, baby blue, mint green

I would say one of the colours are similar to, the minty green from Mac's Quite Cute collection
